Donna Hussain
Chief Executive Officer
Donna brings a wealth of experience in governance, strategic planning, service development and design, and most of all parenting.
Donna is a ‘Trauma Informed Approach Practitioner and train the trainer’. She plans to develop the organisation so that it is fully trauma informed, from policy to practice, and includes the environment we work in.
Donna continually develops training programs for staff and parents, to meet the ever changing needs of current and future generations.
Donna keeps up to date with the latest research and evidence to ensure our early childhood development and family support service are continually improved and relevant to today’s family.
Jennifer Coupe
Office Manager
Jennifer Manages the day to day administration of our support service. She ensures that our policies and procedures are up to date and that our governance and obligations standards are met.
Kerry Molineux
Family Support Manager
Kerry manages our family support service, this includes the family support team and our current volunteers. Kerry also manages the recruitment and training of a wide range of volunteers, from both the community and from education settings across Central Lancashire.
Kerry was previously a Home-Start Coordinator who worked supporting families in East Lancashire.
Jorden Thompson
Family Support Coordinator
Jorden is one of our Family Support Coordinators, working with families and volunteers to help deliver our home visiting service. She may be one of the first to visit a new family in their home after a referral has been made and then will oversee the visits that a volunteer makes to the family.
Becky Wood
Family Support Coordinator
Becky is another of our Family Support Coordinators, working with families and volunteers to help deliver our home visiting service. She may be one of the first to visit a new family in their home after a referral has been made and then will oversee the visits that a volunteer makes to the family.
Joanna Steed
Family Support Coordinator – Currently on Maternity Leave
Joanna ( Jo ) is a Family Support Coordinator, working across central Lancashire. Jo works with families and volunteers to help deliver our home visiting service. Megan Alty
Family Support Coordinator
Megan is a Family Support Coordinator, working across central Lancashire. Megan was previously a volunteer with Home-Start Central Lancashire. Megan works with families and volunteers to help deliver our home visiting service. Coordinators are the first people to visit a new family in their home after a referral has been made, and then they will oversee the visits that a volunteer makes to the family.
Trustees
Maureen Walkden
Chair of Trustees
Maureen qualified as a dietitian in 1968 and then worked in the NHS for some years until she had 3 children. She then took on voluntary work in the school that her children attended. Maureen then became a governor of the school and served for 20 years.
In 2013 she joined the committee of Home-Start Central Lancashire as an advisor and volunteer. Three years ago, became a Trustee. Maureen became the Chair of Trustees at our AGM in 2023
Jeannie Stirling
Vice-Chair
In 1996 Jeannie joined the steering group of what is now Home-Start Central Lancashire and has dedicated much of her experience, knowledge, skills and time as Chair, Trustee and Director over the past 25 years to ensuring families are supported and valued.
Jeannie is Chair of the Patients Advisory Group of the CCG, Vice-Chair of the Police Central Division Independent Advisory Group (IAG) and has represented the voluntary sector on various strategic boards throughout Lancashire for 25 years. Jeannie is also a Trustee/Director of Genesis and a ‘Friend of Astley Hall’ and has previously been an Advisor for Chorley Women’s Refuge.
Jeannie took a step back from Chair of Trustees at our AGM in 2023, she continues to support Home-Start Central Lancashire as the Vice-Chair
Diane Gradwell
Trustee
Diane is the Chief Executive of Lancashire West Citizen’s Advice, a service she has been involved with for over 27 years. During her time with Citizen’s Advice, Diane has managed change at various levels, ensured contract compliance as well as the continued sustainability of the organisation.
Zed Ali
Trustee
Zed has a passionate commitment for equality, diversity and inclusion and has around 20 years’ experience of working in this area, she is also the Equality, Diversity, and Inclusion lead on the corporate board at Bolton CCG.
Zed has worked in many Strategic Health and social departments and held various roles such as Youth offending Officer, child protection officer, residential social worker, and care manger. More recently, Zed leads on equality and diversity across Lancashire as a consultant and Chief Executive of Lancashire Equalities (soon to be Equalities & Justice Northwest.
June Molyneaux
Trustee
June Molyneaux is a retired primary school teacher who has served as a councillor for over twenty years.
Born and raised in Adlington, June is involved in many local groups. She has supported the local Luncheon Club in providing meals to local residents. June is also involved in the re-launch of the Friendship Group, bringing people together for a brew and a chat.
