Household Support Fund Round 4 – will be open for applications from week commencing Monday 3rd July 2023
Chorley Council have received funding from the government for round 4 of the Household Support Fund.
As with round one, two, and three, we will be working in partnership with Chorley Council and other organisations to ensure families who do not have enough resources are supported to meet their immediate needs due to the rises in cost of living.
The funding can help families with short-term living costs such as food, and essential items. We can also provide additional emotional and practical support for families and where necessary signpost to other support and advice agencies.
The following types of requests will not be covered by this fund:
- Any requests for items that are not essential
- Applications from households with no dependent children
- Applications from those with sufficient income
- Requests for support where this is the responsibility of the landlord
Access to support will be available by application from the 26th of June 2023.
Please complete the application form below following the guidelines then return to admin@homestartcentrallancs.org.uk
Please note – Priority will be given to those families who are struggling on low income and do not qualify for the additional government support payments of £301, £300, and £299 during 2023/2024.
We will require proof of child benefit and a latest bank statement before approving any applications. Failure to complete all the highlighted areas of the form will result in the application being returned unprocessed.
This is only available for Chorley Borough residents. If outside of Chorley Borough, your application will not be processed. Please contact your local council for details on your area’s fund.
